Craftly.build Named Participant in the 2026 Innovationspreis Göttingen Northeim
We are thrilled to announce that Craftly.build has been officially recognized as a participant in the 2026 Innovationspreis der Region Göttingen Northeim, organized by the WRGN (Wirtschaftsförderung Region Göttingen Northeim GmbH).
A Record-Breaking Year for Innovation
This year's competition is the largest in the award's history, with 161 innovative projects competing across categories spanning green energy, biotech, advanced manufacturing, and digital technology. The breadth and quality of the field speaks to the depth of innovation happening right here in our region.
We are proud to represent the software engineering sector, showcasing how AI-driven automation can solve a very real economic challenge for digital agencies and software teams across the DACH region and beyond.
What We're Proving
Our entry focuses on solving what we call the "Agency Margin Crisis." For too long, software agencies have bled profit during the first 40 hours of every project — the hidden "Boilerplate Tax." By entering this competition, we are bringing a spotlight to three interconnected ideas:
- Agentic Workflows: Moving beyond simple chatbots to an orchestrated 9-agent pipeline — each agent with a distinct specialisation, working in parallel to produce a running application from a plain-language brief.
- The PHP Renaissance: Using Laravel 12 and the Prism AI SDK to build production-ready systems at scale. While the AI industry focuses on JavaScript frameworks, 75% of the web runs PHP. Craftly meets developers where production actually lives.
- Measurable Economic Impact: Helping agencies reclaim roughly €2,000 in lost margin per project start — 20 to 40 senior developer hours redirected from boilerplate to billable feature work.
What Happens Next?
The jury will spend the coming weeks reviewing all 161 applications. In late June, we will receive further updates — leading up to the "Forum für Ideen" on September 14th, 2026 in Göttingen, where we will have the opportunity to showcase the Craftly Forge in person.
The journey culminates in the grand award ceremony on October 8th, 2026, at the PS.Speicher in Einbeck.
